Intereco Energy (“we”) is a project development company based in Washington, D.C. that works with partners internationally. This policy explains what information this website collects and how it is used.
Information we collect
Contact form. If you send us an enquiry, we receive the enquiry type you select, your name, company, e-mail address and message and, if you provide them, your phone number and country. We also receive the page or link from which you opened the form (for example, a project page), so we know which topic your enquiry concerns.
Server and security logs. The hosting infrastructure that serves this website may automatically process technical information about each request, such as IP address, browser user agent, date and time, the address requested and the referring page. This information is used to operate the website, keep it secure and investigate technical problems.
Form protection. To protect the contact form against spam and forged submissions, the website uses a session cookie and keeps a short-lived record containing a one-way hash of the sender’s network address.

How we use information
- Information you submit through the contact form is used to respond to your enquiry and to continue the conversation you start with us.
- Technical and security information is used to operate and protect the website and the contact form.

Google Analytics
- Google Analytics 4 (provided by Google) is optional. It helps us measure how the website is used: pages viewed, how visitors arrive, and whether they use contact routes such as the contact form.

Google receives information such as the pages you view, your browser and device type, and an approximate location derived from your IP address, and provides us with aggregated reports. - We do not send your name, e-mail address, phone number, company or message to Google Analytics. When you send the contact form, Analytics receives only that a message was sent and the enquiry type you selected from our fixed list.
- Advertising features, Google signals and ad personalisation are switched off for this website.
- You can reject analytics in the banner, and you can change or withdraw your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, Analytics stops and the website deletes the Google Analytics cookies it can remove.
- If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a rejection of analytics cookies and do not show the banner; you can still opt in through Cookie settings.

Advertising and social media
This website does not use advertising cookies, Google Ads remarketing, Meta Pixel, LinkedIn Insight Tag, Hotjar or Microsoft Clarity.
LinkedIn icons on this website are ordinary links. No LinkedIn script, pixel or widget is loaded on our pages. If you click such a link, you go to LinkedIn, and LinkedIn’s own privacy and cookie practices apply there.
Service providers
- Website and e-mail hosting: home.pl (Poland, European Union) hosts this website, processes server logs and delivers contact-form messages to us by e-mail.
- Google — only if you accept analytics cookies, as described above.
Enquiries are read by our team. If you ask us to involve a project partner in a conversation, we may share relevant details with that partner for that purpose. We may also disclose information to professional advisers or authorities where required by law.
International users and transfers
Intereco Energy is based in the United States, this website is hosted in the European Union, and our team and partners work in several countries. Information sent through this website may therefore be processed in the United States, the European Union and other countries where we or our service providers operate, including Google if you accept analytics. Data protection laws in those countries may differ from the laws where you live.
Retention
- Enquiries and related correspondence: as long as needed to respond and to manage the business relationship that follows, and afterwards only as long as needed for legal, accounting or record-keeping purposes.
- Server and security logs: for the period set by our hosting provider for operation and security.
- Form-protection record: up to one hour. Form session cookie: until the browser is closed.
- Your cookie choice: 12 months. Google Analytics data: according to the data-retention period configured in our Google Analytics account.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and restricted access to form settings and records. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
Your privacy rights
Privacy rights may vary depending on your jurisdiction. Depending on the law that applies to you, you may be able to ask us to give you access to the personal information we hold about you, to correct or delete it, to restrict or object to its use, or to receive a copy of it, and you may be able to withdraw consent you have given (for example, for analytics cookies) at any time. You may also have the right to complain to a data protection or consumer protection authority.
We do not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising. We will not treat you differently for making a privacy request. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
