A waste collection, sorting and energy recovery project prepared for São Tomé and Príncipe.
Overview
The project was designed to introduce waste sorting, recycling and waste-to-energy capacity on the islands. A memorandum of understanding was signed with the Ministry of Environment in 2024 and a project site was secured. The project has not proceeded to implementation.
